Introducing Mrs. Annika Buckley!
Mrs. Buckley has had a life full of music. At the age of eight, she began piano lessons and started organ lessons as a freshman in high school. Mrs. Buckley has served as a church organist for the past nine years and has enjoyed directing church choirs, accompanying high school choirs and ensembles, and teaching the next generation of musicians. She currently serves as the Music Director at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE.
Mrs. Buckley received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Keyboard Performance where she studied organ and harpsichord under Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer. In 2025, she graduated with her MM from the University of Kansas in Church Music, organ emphasis, under Dr. Michael Bauer. During her university years, she participated in the university and chamber choirs and conducted the Bales Chorale Society.
Mrs. Buckley hopes to continue the growth of music for the next generation, spreading God’s glory into the church and the home. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking bread, and playing board games with her husband.
